May 2025 BBQ and Chris Foss models fly-in

The May club meeting was the first this year in the Summer Saturday BBQ format. It came with bright sunny weather, if a little breezy, and had a good turnout. The flight line was predominately celebrating  Chris Foss models, but a number of other types brought variety to the day. The BBQ was a very welcome break. It was efficiently staffed by Tom, Mark, Geoff and Julia who produced a large number of tasty burgers and sausages in quick time. Photos by Izzy Brown and David King.

Once John Ivory had landed his plane, he and Colin Lucas discussed Wot 4 flying techniques with Paul Shrubb and Colin followed up with some one-to-one.
