Hanky Planky Contest 10th December 2025

Six members braved wintry conditions to challenge for this hotly contested series.

“Well, Clive arranged a very interesting competition.
Spot landing first round then takeoff from a ramp, into stall turn, 2 rolls down wind, 3 loops upwind, low pass over a simulated aircraft carrier deck, and finally to land on the aircraft carrier.
Great fun. Thanks for Clive putting together this comp and congratulations to Tom and Colin who were joint winners.”

Clive Upperton messaged

“Well done to Colin and Tom and commiserations those who failed to land on the field or landed in the ‘drink’ during the carrier landing task. Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves despite the breezy conditions.
