Coombes
The 2026 competition for up to 2.5m span electrically launched gliders will begin in April as usual and will run at Coombes, twice a month on Thursdays at 1300 for around an hour, until mid September. A simple height limiter is required. The club has spares available and they are easily fitted on the day. Contact the glider representative if you need to borrow one.

Monthly contest starting at 1300 and lasting around an hour for up to 2m span electrically launched RES gliders. These have Rudder, Elevator & Spoiler controls only. A simple height limiter is required. The club has spares available and they are easily fitted on the day. Contact the glider representative if you need to borrow one.
General
There will be a general flying session at Ashurst one Sunday each month in the summer months. This is a Fun fly day for any type of glider. (It’s not a contest, so no height limiter is required.) All welcome.
There will be a new contest for the Innovation glider, format and location to be decided.
