Lasham vintage glider museum visit

On 2nd July 2024 members were again treated to an exceptionally interesting tour of the Lasham Vintage Glider Museum.

We were guided by Gordon, whose knowledge of the gliders seemed encyclopaedic. In addition to the gliders, we viewed an informative video about the history of gliding in England and especially Sussex. And we were shown the workshops that were funded with the aim of preserving vintage gliders in an airworthy condition.
